Made with leftovers:

Standing rib roast-turned into wilted salad of beef and arugula
Potatos-warmed, crisped and smothere with romesco sauce
Asparagus-frittata
Cranberries (not sauce or jelly)-cranberry lemonaid

Now I think tomorrow I will make scrampled eggs and use the rest of the romesco sauce to pour over them.

But the muse is not cooperating, partly due to the fact that I have a sinus infection and apparently antibiotics kill the inspiration to write along with other things.

Oh, well no one commented on Ginny/Luna one anyway so no one but mods are reading...

What I did manage to get done today...

1.  Cleaning out closet and a pile of clothes to take to the thrift store that helps fund the Battered Women's shelter
2.  Cleaned out pantry, dumped old and stale spices etc...
3   Organized DVD and CD collections
4.   Made Lentil stew with smoked turkey
5.   Made white bean and pumpkin soup
6    Baked Cheese Bread
7.   Also Chocolate Gingerbread
8.   Mulled wine (for the first time ever...tis very good)
9.   Ricotta Pound Cake
10. Chocolate Brioche
11.  Cinnamon Bread (to make french toast from on Christmas morning)
12.  Laundry (I need to pick up dresses from cleaners though tomorrow)
13.  Homemade Granola (for Dad as extra Christmas gift as he likes it)
14  Bathed Dogs..

Oh and dept store was having sale on shoes...so how could I resist...

Please don't be offended by my ignorance either...

1.  Cornbread (not corn muffins..cornbread)...is this something that a English person would and does eat or make on occasion?
2.  Same thing with Chili?
3.  Surfing...I have seen on the Travel Channel here a program that showed surfers around the Cornwall area...any information?  Am I right in assuming the water is cold, even in the summer?

Thanks
